Not that it can’t be done…but it really should not. You would spend a LOT of time cleaning up the code that is kicked out through that process, and making it work with Joomla. And I’m not even sure that after all that work it would do the trick.

Joomla Templates require certain files, and depend on certain conventions in creating them. I don’t know anyone who has tried to create one with slicing, it just isn’t practical. Dreamweaver is really what should using.

You need to know CSS pretty darned well to work out a good Joomla template. If I were you, I’d look for a template that is close to what you are going for and adjust it as needed.
